Taluka Level Sports Event 2024-25

The students of English Medium High School Muroor have made the school proud by excelling at the taluk level in the 2024-25 Mirzan zone high school level sports event. Here’s a summary of their outstanding achievements:

Individual Achievements:

  • Ms. Supriya Shankar Gowda (10th class): Claimed first place in the 100m, 200m, and 400m races.
  • Ms. Ruchi M Nayka (9th class): Dominated the shot put, discus throw, and javelin throw events, securing first place in all.
  • Ms. H. D Niranjan (10th class): Took first place in the shot put, discus throw, and baton relay.
  • Ms. Jeevan R Naik (10th class): Achieved first place in chain shot, second in discus throw, and third in shot put.
  • Ms. Ramya Suresha Hegde (9th class): Secured the second position in her category.
  • T. G. Arpita M Gowda (8th class): Excelled in the 100m, 200m, and 400m races, winning first place in all.
  • Ms. Sriram S Nayka (8th class): Claimed first place in the shot put.

Team Achievements:

  • Girls Volleyball: First place.
  • Girls Throwball: First place.
  • Boys Throwball: Runner-up.

Chess:

  • Ms. Harsha G Bhatta (10th class)
